Tell us more about your company/the company you work for? (How you got started, where did the idea come from, how it has grown to the success it is today, etc.)

Shred415 is a workout class that alternates between treadmill drills and floor work including strength training and cardio bursts. I was neighbors’ with Bonnie Micheli & Tracy Roemer, the co-founders of Shred415. When opening up suburban locations they asked to partner in these locations. It has grown into such a successful brand because it is a great product that has impacted many people. Our team has worked to continue to promote and grow the company.

What has been your biggest challenge as a working mom? Your biggest reward?

The biggest challenge is definitely balancing life and work. The best reward is seeing the pride my own kids have for me because of my accomplishments.

Where do you think working mom guilt comes from and how can women overcome it?

The guilt comes from not being there as often as sometimes needed for them. I always make sure to schedule in fun days with them and keep myself very organized to help overcome some of the guilt.

What have you found to be the motivations and benefits for women that take on the extra stress and time crunch of combining work and family?

A sense of personal accomplishment because I know I am capable of being a mom, career woman, and even more.

What would be your time-saving tip for your fellow working moms?

Work smarter and surround yourself with a great team.

Who or what gives you your daily dose of inspiration?

Watching all the strong empowering people work to reach their goals every day in the studio.

What was the best advice a momma mentor in your life gave you?

It is not about the amount of time it is about the quality of time you spend with your kids.

What advice would you give to other working moms when it comes to balancing a career, family, and self-care?

Schedule time for yourself! (including workouts at Shred ;)

What is in your briefcase, purse, luggage, diaper bag, that you use every day, that you live for/need, in your life in order to make it a little less chaotic?

If you go back in time and give one piece of advice to yourself as a young mother, what would it be?

Enjoy every minute with your kids it goes fast.

If you could have a theme song for a “day in your life” what would it be?
